A quick history-
Pilgrims land in Massachusetts after Columbus got lost.
The Pilgrims mingle with Natives.
Winter storms kill many of the new "discoverers" of the land.
Natives aka indians survive the weather because they've done it before.
Pilgrims declare the new world theirs and feast for three days on crops the indians grew.
Years later George Washington declares the first Thursday of Nov. a holiday called Thanksgiving.
Now its the last Thursday.
a day off of work or school is always cool.
